Australian-born short film director and documentary filmmaker Lucas Jatobá, who lived in Barcelona for a long time, lent his talent to Alberta La Grup a few months ago to tell, through a brief but evocative recording, what the essence of a Personal Assistant’s work is. The video opens the website of The Lifestyle Institute, Alberta La Grup’s international training project, which will open its doors this autumn and which is, undoubtedly, a pioneering effort in Europe.

In the film’s few minutes, Jatobá captures the soul of a passion and a work that is based on the love for details, the ability to understand the needs of the human being and the taste for beauty and the extraordinary. Sensitivity, discipline, connection, love for the excellence. This is the identity of a Personal Assistant and Jatobá knew how to appreciate it in all its complexity.

Illuminating the essence of things is a capacity that only a few possess and, without a doubt, characterizes the work of this filmmaker who defines himself as a “citizen of the world”. The ability to understand that essence, in an international environment, is a fundamental part of the work of a Personal Assistant and the Alberta La Grup team, and it is no coincidence that Jatobá was able to connect with his work in such a short period of time.

Jatobá’s latest and ambitious project is an extraordinary way of deepening this search for essence. It is the documentary series “Divine Women”. Our world has lost, as Jatobá feels, the contact with its soul, with the nature from which it comes and with the balance between the masculine and the feminine on which it is based since its creation, although we have forgotten it. The imbalance began 2,000 years ago and our civilization has prolonged it in time and has sunk the power of one of the parts, the feminine power, into oblivion.

“Divine Women”

Lucas Jatobá wants to rescue that lost essence and power in a documentary series entitled “Divine Women” in which he seeks to give a voice to that half of humanity that is the victim of a corrupt society that, for hundreds of years, has led human beings down the path of imbalance and self-destruction. The time has come for Divine Femininity to take its rightful place and to regain its power. “Divine Women” tells this return to the fundamental and the balance between the feminine and the masculine, rescuing stories of extraordinary women and recovering all the symbols of femininity that were forgotten.

Camera in hand, the filmmaker tries to explain the shift in consciousness and the return of the energy of the Divine Femininity that our society is experiencing today, at the beginning of the 21st century, and he does so by narrating it from the point of view of different spiritual masters who are opening the way for the establishment of a new paradigm on our planet Earth.

An extraordinary story

The series will consist of eight episodes, each of which will tell the life story and work of a remarkable woman. The story of each one focuses on their battle between light and shadows and each protagonist shares their experiences “in various dimensions” and the way in which these have transformed their identity and taken their vital consciousness to a higher level. Narrating these experiences allows each protagonist to share his wisdom and knowledge.

Each story will focus on different aspects of living: spiritually, the multiplicity of dimensions, the intrinsic power of the feminine, the divine energy of Femininity and of Masculinity, ancient wisdom, healing, female leadership, self-employment, different belief systems, psychic abilities or spiritual awakening. So far, what we have seen is a five minute “teaser” that uncovers the conceptual approach of the series. Each 50-minute episode will feature a “Divine Woman” representative of all races and all continents. Each episode will also be filmed in a unique and sacred place located in different parts of the world.

The essence of the story told by a man

The series is essentially about how to serve humanity. “We cannot solve our problems from the same level of consciousness that they were created,” explains the filmmaker. That is why the time has come to raise this and, in this way, to create together a new reality, in which we all reach the power to live with truth, freedom, joy, love and harmony. In this way we can leave a truly wonderful legacy to our children and grandchildren.

But why does a man care so deeply about the lost power of the matriarchal society from which we all descend even though we have forgotten it? Lucas Jatobá explains that there is an ancestral duty that binds him to that feminine energy. “As a man,” he explains, “I have the responsibility to accept, maintain and embrace the powerful changes that come with the awakening of the energy of what I call the Divine Feminine. We are only able to adopt a complete way of living when both the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine reach a perfect balance, supporting each other in a harmonic way.”

The video presentation was shot with a team of nine women and five men, spanning seven different nationalities. The project is totally independent. Jatobá was working on the project for more than a year without subsidies or financial support. One way of funding is through donations or the purchase of T-shirts that can be made through the production company’s website www.livinglibraryfilms.com. If there is something this international production-boutique company, founded in February 2015 by Lucas Jatobá between Sydney (Australia) and Barcelona (Spain), appreciates, it is its independence and freedom of creation. “Our mission is to make films and ideas that increase life awareness and inspire people and companies to be the best version of themselves,” Jatobá explains on the website.

A successful career

Lucas Jatobá started his career in the world of advertising and quickly evolved into short films and documentaries. He has received numerous awards for his work in the Doc LA festival in Los Angeles (USA), the International Festival of Bali, the Flickerfest in Australia, the Independent Film Festival in Sofia (Bulgaria), the Ocean Coast Film Festival in Portugal and the Cannes Festival. “Phenomenality” (2018), “Love yourself” (2017) and “Last words” (2016) are some of his acclaimed films. He began working as a creative and art director for the advertising industry (in agencies such as BBDO, Droga5, Ogilvy and Havas), where he won over 30 international awards for his work, including five Cannes Lions.

Lucas Jatobá has three nationalities (Australian, Brazilian and Italian). He is a writer and director and, above all, defines himself as “a citizen of the world”. In the last decade he has lived and worked in three continents, which has given him a deep knowledge and wisdom about what it means to be a human being.
